Several other fugitives were to be taken to the West Bank city of Ramallah, where Abbas's government is based, Fatah sources said.

My Comment: So after getting no volunteers, lots were drawn to see who were the "lucky" ones. Something in my gut tells me that a Hamas jail is a place that you do not want to be a prisoner of.

This is a disaster for Fatah and for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. By abandoning his men to this fate, he has just undercut the moral for all the soldiers that are under his command.
