Kim Jong Il News All the Time In North Korea
SEOUL: The state-run media of North Korea have released a flurry of reports of public appearances by the country's reclusive leader, Kim Jong Il, in what analysts on Thursday called an effort to demonstrate to his people and the outside world that he is firmly in control despite widespread rumors of ill health.
Since Sunday, news outlets in the North have described three separate appearances by Kim, 66, who officials in Washington and Seoul have said probably suffered a stroke around August and may have undergone brain surgery.
In the latest report, the North's official news agency, KCNA, said on Thursday that Kim had attended a concert, where a state choir and opera groups performed numbers like "Please Receive Our Salute!"

My Comment: The people who are running North Korea feel very insecure about their position. The more they try to prop up Kim Jong Il's health .... the more obvious that he is very sick.
