Security Developments In Iraq, Nov 2

Nov 2 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1400 GMT on Sunday.

* KIRKUK - A roadside bomb killed two children and wounded a third in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed one policeman and wounded three others when it hit their patrol in Kamaliya district, eastern Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - A suicide car bomb targeting a police patrol wounded one policeman on Saturday in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded two Iraqi soldiers on patrol in eastern Mosul on Saturday, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen wounded one Iraqi soldier and one woman in an attack on military checkpoint in eastern Mosul on Saturday, police said.

HILLA - Police found the body of a man bearing stab wounds in central Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad, on Saturday, police said.

HAWIJA - A roadside bomb wounded three people including one woman when it struck their vehicle in central Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
