COLOMBO, Nov. 27 (Reuters) - Torrential rain bogged down Sri Lanka's siege of the Tamil Tigers' headquarters town on Thursday, the day the separatists' chief was due to deliver his yearly rallying cry for an insurgency now under heavy military pressure.
The military since September has been attacking the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam's (LTTE) self-declared capital of Kilinochchi, and on Wednesday said its fall was imminent.
