Last-Ditch Power Talks Resume In Zimbabwe -- CNN

HARARE, Zimbabwe (CNN) -- African leaders are meeting in Harare in an effort to resolve a long-standing power-sharing dispute between embattled Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

Mugabe and Tsvangirai signed a power-sharing deal last September, but they have yet to form a government of national unity amid continued wrangling.

The agreement, brokered by former South African President Thabo Mbeki on behalf of Southern African Development Community (SADC), stalled as Tsvangirai accused Mugabe of grabbing all key ministries such as defense, information, foreign affairs, finance and home affairs.
