From The Danger Room:
Football season is official over. Which means there are a whole lot of cheerleaders, looking for gigs. Good thing the U.S. Army needs a "Professional NFL Cheerleader Troupe" to tour Afghanistan in April.
The six-cheerleader tour will last ten days, the Army promises. And it won't be the only one, entertaining the troops. The military also wants five Ultimate Fighting Championship brawlers (including one female fighter) for an Afghan trip. In May, the Army is looking to bring over Volleyball players and extreme athletes. These "X-Game participants must be from different genres," the Army specifies, "two of the genres must be Skateboarding and BMX."
