Clinton Rolls Out Foreign Policy Approach In Trip

From Reuters:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Six weeks into the job, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is starting to roll out the Obama administration's approach to the most prickly foreign policy challenges from Arab-Israeli peace to Russia.

In her second foreign trip which ended early on Sunday, Clinton dipped into Middle East peacemaking and promised to work for a "comprehensive" Arab-Israeli peace.

My Comment: The Reuters article paints a rosy picture for Sec. of State Clinton's first month. But it leaves out what will be the most difficult part of her tenure. Iran, North Korea, and the trend towards fail state status in countries like Pakistan, Mexico, and most of Africa.

In addition, the Reuters article conveniently leaves out how this new U.S. foreign policy approach has alienated traditional and long term allies like Israel, Eastern block countries, and Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Gulf States ..... in favor of talks with Iran, and talks with Russia.

It is still too early in her tenure. But her first month has worried many of America's most reliable and supportive allies .... and we (besides the positive American press) have nothing to show for it.
