Heavy Firing Erupts In Southeastern Afghan City Of Khost -- Yahoo News/AP

KABUL – Taliban militants attacked government buildings in the southeastern Afghan city of Khost on Saturday with suicide bombers, AK-47 rifles and rocket-propelled grenades, officials said.

Also Saturday, the NATO command announced another of its soldiers was killed by a bomb in southern Afghanistan. The soldier's nationality was not released, but U.S. officials said the victim was not American.
