Netanyahu Adviser Raises "MAD" Nuclear Scenario -- Reuters

My Comment: It appears that Israel's intelligence and military community have convinced the Israeli political leadership that for Israel to successfully destroy Iran's nuclear facilities, it would require a sustained and comprehensive air campaign .... a scenario that is not possible for Israel.
The alternative is the "MAD" nuclear scenario .... if you destroy me, I will destroy you. The rational is that it worked during the Cold War between NATO and the Warsaw Pact, and it will work in the Middle East.
I (however) have doubts that this can be successful applied in the Middle East.
Suicide and martyrdom is a virtue for many in this part of the world. It would only take one leader and/or organization to get such a cataclysmic event underway .... a scenario that is unfortunately becoming more likely with each passing day.
