My Comment: For a man who was planning to be out of the Pentagon after last years Presidential election .... life has definitely taken a detour for him. He is probably the right man, at the right place, at the right time for the Pentagon and the direction that it must now embark on.

His decisions have made a considerable number of enemies and critics .... but he clearly has the President's ear and support, and he is using this support to radically change how the Pentagon will work and function in the years to come.
