From the Australian:

UNITED Nations investigators are preparing to question former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf about the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, amid mounting doubts over official versions of how she died and claims of a cover-up.

The Weekend Australian Magazine reveals today evidence that a bullet - probably sniper fire from a high-velocity rifle - killed the former prime minister.

The Musharraf regime said a "bump on the head" resulting from a Taliban or al-Qa'ida suicide bomber killed Bhutto on December 27, 2007, shortly before an election she was expected to win.

My Comment: When she entered Pakistan to run for the Presidency, I remarked that she was going to be assassinated. I had no intelligence or knowledge from unnamed sources .... it was my gut telling me that because she was going to upset the status quo .... her run for the Presidency was an existential threat to Pakistan's military and political elite.

Since her death, news and information has been steadily coming out of Pakistan. We now know that Pakistan has diverted international aid monies and assistance for nuclear weapons development and who knows what else. The Intelligence Services have given sanctuary to some of the most notorious Islamic extremists on the planet. The treasury and wealth of the country has disappeared and is now empty, and the economy is in free fall.

Unfortunately .... these developments are also overwhelming any desire or interest to know how, who, and why she was murdered .... and as a result the truth behind her death will now probably always be a mystery.
