Ousted President Zelaya Returns To Honduras

Ousted Zelaya 'returns to Honduras to reclaim presidency' -- The Telegraph

Manuel Zelaya, the ousted president of Honduras, has returned to the capital to reclaim his presidency.

“I am here in Tegucigalpa. I am here for the restoration of democracy, to call for dialogue,” Mr Zelaya told a local television station.

Mr Zelaya was forced out of the country at gunpoint in his pyjamas on June 28. Roberto Micheletti, the country’s interim leader, has repeatedly said a jail cell awaits Mr Zelaya if he comes back.

My Comment: He had no choice but to try and sneak in and to create a media buzz. The upcoming Presidential elections will undermine and eliminate any remaining legitimacy he has to the Presidency .... he had to act now.

Unfortunate;y, I only see violence coming out from this action.

just let's work towards freedom in this county so that their people can stay there or go back to their homeland...this would make them happy.
