My Comment: When you have countries like Zimbabwe that institute policies that destroys their farm industry ... there will be consequences. For the rest of the world today, many problems in food production stem from Government policies and actions. Throw wars and conflicts into this mix .... you will then end up with a lot of hungry people.
Are there any solutions to this problem .... the answer is no. The idea of free markets and property rights does not go over well for the governments of most countries in the world .... I expect this altitude and perception to continue even when there are millions who are starving.
