Pakistan Violence: Coordinated Attacks On Police Buildings Leave 39 Dead -- The Telegraph

Gunmen armed with grenades and suicide vests stormed four police buildings across Pakistan in coordinated attacks that left at least 39 people dead.

In Lahore, militants attacked a police academy, an elite commando training centre andthe Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), while a suicide car bomber targeted another police station in Kohat, a military garrison town in the North West frontier Province, 115 miles west of the capital Islamabad.

More than 100 people have been killed in an upsurge of violence across the country over the past two weeks.
