U.K. Miitary Spending Is Out of Control


Ministry Of Defence Equipment Program Led To Excess Costs And Long Delays -- The Telegraph

The British Ministry of Defence has been accused of running a ''substantially overheated'' equipment programme that led to hefty cost overruns and long delays in delivery.

The long-awaited report by businessman Bernard Gray was highly critical of the performance of the Ministry of Defence.

The report estimated that the total budget over-run on the equipment programme was around £35 billion.
