My Comment:
When McClatchy News and CBS disclosed what was President Obama's plans for Afghanistan. I immediately expressed my surprise and reservations .... and at the time I confessed that I was wrong because I had expected a completely opposite reaction/decision.

Hmmmm .... I guess I was right to begin with.

We are now witnessing Washington politics at its worse, in particularly from this White House.

These (war) conferences have been a waste of time, President Obama and his inner circle had already decided on what to do before all of these meetings started. You can put your money on the bank with this one. The troops have been left hanging for this year on what needs to be done .... they will still be left hanging in the weeks and months ahead.
