U.S. Media Finally Reporting On The International Frustration With U.S. Foreign Policy

Clinton Met With Anger And Frustration In Israel, Pakistan -- Christian Science Monitor

Palestinians say Hillary Clinton is 'back-pedaling' after a comment in Israel Sunday, and her 'charm offensive' in Pakistan was dogged by persistent outbursts against US policy there.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton traveled to Israel and Pakistan this week in part put her stamp on two key areas of American foreign policy. Along the way, she is making a lot of people unhappy.

The Palestinian Authority Sunday accused the United States of "back-pedaling" after Secretary Clinton suggested that a full freeze of Israeli activity in settlement areas was no longer a precondition to the resumption of peace talks.

My Comment: For the past few months this blog has been critical of U.S. foreign policy .... labeling it as all talk but nothing of substance. But while we have been harsh, the harshest criticism has been coming from Europe and Asia .... with both government officials and the media lambasting and openly ridiculing President Obama's foreign policy initiatives. It has gotten so bad that I am sometimes wondering if I am living in two different worlds, with the world questioning the governing style of the President on one side, and the U.S. main stream media following a different path by either being supportive of the President's policies , or being completely silent.

Quiet that is .... until now.

The Christian Science Monitor is not the main stream press .... their circulation is too small .... but many in the main stream media read the Christian Science Monitor and sometimes take their cue from them. In today's Christian Science Monitor they blast Secretary of Clinton on the inconsistencies and contradictions of her recent trips to Pakistan and the Middle East .... and they hold nothing back. To say that I am surprise is an understatement. My recommendation .... the CSM piece is short ..... but it nails all the important points. Read it all.
