Somali Bombing Kills Three Government Ministers At Graduation Ceremony -- The Telegraph

A suicide bombing killed three Somali government ministers and more than 16 other civilians at a graduation ceremony for medical students in Mogadishu yesterday.

A man disguised as a woman detonated his explosives at a hotel in an attack suspected to have been carried out by al-Qaeda-linked insurgents.

The attack clearly shows that Somalia's Islamist insurgents are now orchestrating better planned strikes and using tactics adopted from al-Qaeda, analysts said.
