Yemen and Washington are in talks to set up a rehabilitation centre in the Arab state for Guantanamo detainees.
The move would help President Barack Obama achieve his elusive goal of closing the controversial US prison.
The issue will be raised for the first time in an international setting on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting in London on Wednesday.

My Comment: No one believes that most of these detainees can be "rehabilitated" .... but as long as the prison remains open at Guantanamo Bay, the political embarrassment that the President must endure each day with this broken promise will make any option preferable than the present one .... including building and housing these detainees in a "rehab center" in Yemen.
