Lockerbie Bomber Megrahi Release Reaches Six-Month Milestone -- Scotsman
FAMILIES who lost loved ones in the Lockerbie atrocity have called for the bomber's medical records to be published –exactly six months after he was freed.
US victims of the bombing said they wanted to see all the medical evidence that saw Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi released on the basis that he only had three months to live.
Justice secretary Kenny MacAskill cited the three-month prognosis when he released Megrahi on compassionate grounds on 20 August last year.

My Comment: The officials who released him did so on compassionate grounds .... that he only had a few weeks (or 3 months) to live.
Hmmmm .... it can now be said that after 6 months their prognosis was wrong. The medical evidence should be released .... if not this will only exacerbate what is already an outrageous situation. For more news go here and here.
Interesting .... as far as Libya is concerned .... they paid for his release.
