Talks Between India And Pakistan Still On For February 25

Old Ties Help Spur New India-Pakistan Talks -- Wall Street Journal

When the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan sit for historic talks Thursday, they won't need any formal introductions.

India's Nirupama Rao and Pakistan's Salman Bashir struck up a cordial relationship in Beijing when they were both posted as ambassadors to China. They have kept in touch, meeting in New York last fall and on the sidelines of international conferences.
