Somalia: Heavy Fighting Continues Third Consecutive Day in Mogadishu -- AllAfrica.com

Heavy fighting between the transitional government troops backing by AMISOM and the Islamist fighters is continuing in parts of the Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses told Shabelle radio on Friday.

At least 40 people were killed and more than 100 others wounded in a bitter clashes and shelling between the two warring sides in the north of the capital Mogadishu on Thursday.
