Pirates, Mexican drug runners, Islamic terrorists on list.

Somali pirates, Mexican drug smugglers and Islamic terrorists are the types of groups that pose the greatest threat to the United States in the coming decades and, according to a report released on Tuesday, the Pentagon is not adapting quickly enough to stop them.

My Comment:
The report's conclusion will probably find no critics .... everyone agrees with these "irregular" threats, and are trying their best to confront them. But there are limits to what anyone can do. Mexico's drug wars are it's own, as well as Somalia and most countries in the world. We can act like an empire and intervene directly on one side in these conflicts (and we do) .... but if history is any indication these problems only create more problems and conflicts, a fact that is conveniently ignored.
