China's Economy Roars, U.S. Economy Sluggish. You Know This Is Not Going To End Well

China's Economy Marches On As Growth Rate Soars By Nearly 12% -- Daily Mail

Chinese annual growth has soared to its fastest pace for three years, official figures showed today.

The world's third-biggest economy grew 11.9 per cent in the first quarter, beating forecasts as its strongest performance since 2007.

The year-on-year growth has fuelled calls for tighter policies to prevent the Chinese economy from overheating as Beijing considers a real estate tax to cool down its rampant property market.

My Comment:
I have been a China watcher since the mid 1980s, including living there in 1988. Since then, I have been a frequent visitor and I am fortunate to know some Chinese VIPs in Fujian Province and in Beijing.

Some of them gave me a heads up (a few months ago) on what was the economic pace in the country .... and they are even shocked with the pace of this growth.

As for the U.S., high debt and a sluggish economy is taking it's toll.
