Taliban Take Over Former U.S. Base In Korengal Valley (Video)

24 Apr 2010 8ak: An Al Jazeera video, that will get a lot of play in radical-Islamic circles, shows the Taliban taking over a based evacuated by U.S. soldiers. U.S. says that they it was a strategic move to focus troops in urban areas but the local Taliban commander who took over says that it was demonstration of their power. My Comment: I noticed this video last week. It disheartens me to now know that this video is becoming a recruiting tool for the Taliban .... a sequence of events that does not surprise me at all.
