U.S. Blacklists Iranian Companies And Officials -- Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON—The Obama administration placed on a U.S. financial blacklist more than a dozen Iranian companies and senior Iranian officials in a bid to augment United Nations economic sanctions, approved last week, aimed at curbing Tehran's nuclear and missile programs.

The U.S. specifically targeted the companies and officers of Iran's elite military unit, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which oversees most of Tehran's weapons programs.
