James Cole, the Obama administration’s nominee for deputy attorney general facing the start of confirmation proceedings, is expected to face questions today about his national security views and his work as an independent monitor at insurance giant AIG before it ran into financial problems.
Cole, 58 years old, is a white-collar lawyer and former head of public corruption prosecutions at the Justice Department. He is a longtime friend of Attorney General Eric Holder, and if confirmed—as expected—he will be the permanent replacement for David Ogden, who resigned earlier this year after a rocky tenure under Holder.

My Comment: This news confirms it .... while terrorism will probably be fought using special ops and CIA teams .... the legal aspect of this battle is now also front and forward .... with the legal part (probably) being priority number one.
