Kyrgyz Politicians Split On Need For Foreign Troops To Halt Unrest -- RIA Novosti

Politicians in turbulent Kyrgyzstan are divided on the need for foreign peacekeeping forces to stop the ethnic clashes in the Central Asian state.

Some 170 people have been killed and hundreds injured in clashes between ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbek groups that swept through the country's second-largest city of Osh and another southern city of Jalal-Abad for the past five days.
