It happens often, most recently to our favorite from last season, Jennifer Carroll. Just as she started to stumble, however, Kevin started racking up the wins.
A similar dynamic is occurring between Angelo and Tiffany. Despite the departure of nemesis/threat Kenny, Angelo fell apart. Angelo literally sweated through his challenges, couldn’t commit to basic decisions like serving a hot or a cold dish and later stammered his way through the judging panels. Cameras lingered tellingly on his empty cutting board. Meanwhile, nice, smiley Tiffany continues to rack up the wins.
