Flooding In Pakistan Spreads South -- New York Times

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Deadly floodwaters that have wreaked havoc across Pakistan for the past month flowed south on Thursday, forcing the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from a region in the south of the country.

The Indus River breached an embankment at Surjani, leading to evacuations in the southern Thatta district of Sindh Province, government and aid officials said.
