(CNN) -- Two U.S. soldiers were killed in northern Iraq on Tuesday, the U.S. military said.
They are the first American deaths in Iraq since the U.S. combat mission officially ended last week.
The military said initial reports indicate that the two were killed and nine were wounded during small arms fire near the Salaheddin province city of Tuz.
