Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry, who was awarded the first Victoria Cross for bravery since the Falklands War, has revealed he may leave the Army over his frustration at not being allowed to fight in Afghanistan.

He became a national hero after risking his life to save a group of wounded soldiers in Iraq.

Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry's extraordinary act of bravery led to him receiving the Victoria Cross – the first time the highest bravery award had been issued since the Falklands War.
