British Nuclear Submarine Refloated After Running Aground -- Defense News

LONDON - Britain's newest nuclear submarine was towed out to sea after spending Friday stuck on a shingle bank after running aground off a Scottish island.

HMS Astute - billed as the kingdom's most powerful hunter-killer submarine - was towed free from rocks off the Isle of Skye at high tide.
