The top Democrat and Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee are questioning the Obama administration’s decision to sell as much as $60 billion of weapons to Saudi Arabia, according to a letter being circulated for more lawmakers’ signatures.
California Democrat Howard Berman and Florida Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen are seeking support from other members of the U.S. House of Representatives for a letter outlining concerns and questions to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

My Comment: I do not see the U.S. refusing Saudi Arabia's request for purchasing additional arms .... especially when the US needs foreign arms sales to boost it's own economy and to keep the defense industry busy. Throw in the fact that Saudi Arabia is a strategic and vital partner for the U.S., any requests (I am sure) will not be denied.
The concerns that are presently expressed by the House Foreign Affairs Committee is mostly theater .... to show that they are on top of their responsibilities. But I am sure that there are still some questions that need to be answered, as well as placating nervous supporters of Israel that these weapon systems will not be used against them.
