Obama Sends U.S. Warship To Yellow Sea In Show Of Strength As Two Koreas Teeter On The Brink Of All-Out War -- The Daily Mail

President Obama has ordered a U.S. warship to Korea in a show of strength to prevent an escalation of one of the most serious confrontations in the region for decades.

The aircraft carrier George Washington steamed to join military exercises with South Korea in a move meant to deter further attacks by the Pyongyang regime and prevent an all-out war.

By sending the ship to the Yellow Sea, Mr Obama is also sending a message to China – that has long viewed the seas as being under its control – that it must step up pressure to restrain North Korea or risk an ever greater American presence in the area.
