It Appears That There Are No Takers On Iran's Atomic Tour

More Nations Sidestep Iranian Atomic Tour -- Global Security Newswire

Iran's invitation for diplomats from select countries and organizations to visit its nuclear sites this weekend has been declined or set aside by a growing list of nations, including Russia, Brazil, Turkey and Switzerland, the Associated Press today quoted diplomats as saying (see GSN, Jan. 13).

"We declined the invitation," said Swiss President and Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey. "All the like-minded (countries) declined the invitation."
