America's failure to capture Osama bin Laden and the lack of sightings of the world's most wanted man have fostered many theories, some bizarre, about his whereabouts.
The CIA believe the al Qaeda founder is hiding in the rugged tribal regions of north-west Pakistan, though American defence officials concede there has been no hard intelligence on his location in years.
Officials have named Chitral, Kurram and Waziristan as potential havens, where he would be protected by locals and perhaps elements of Pakistan's intelligence services.

My Comment: Indeed .... where is Osama Bin Laden? What is my take .... for the past few years when I wake up and boot my computer to start blogging, I have always been prepared to see headlines splashed that he had been found and captured. Today .... I cannot help but feel that he is alive, but he is being protected by some very powerful individuals in the Islamic world who believe in his vision of the caliphate, and that he will not be found for a very very long time.

do you really think someone like him can hide for 10 yrs? I think there is more going on than what we know.. and I don´t mean pakistani intelligence service hiding him
