Tunisia Unveils New Government As Streets Calm A Bit -- L.A. Times

Opposition leaders and members of the deposed regime are included in the national unity government announced by Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi. Residents begin heading back to work and cleaning up debris from days of rioting, although some clashes continue between police and protesters.

Reporting from Tunis, Tunisia — Tunisia's interim prime minister announced a national unity government that included three opposition leaders, a hodgepodge of relatively unknown technocrats and members of the former regime of President Zine el Abidine ben Ali, who was deposed Friday in a popular uprising that has shaken the Arab world.
