My Comment: I have been going back and forth from China since the mid 1980s, and I have had the good fortune of seeing how much the country has changed since then .... economically, politically, and socially. For the moment, the Chinese people are content to let the status quo continue .... they all want is what we already have in the West .... home, car, appliances, good food, future for the children .... and as long as this continues dissent will only be voiced on the internet.
