Colonel Gaddafi last night made his first appearance since the allied operation began on Saturday, insisting his forces would be ‘victorious in the end’.

In a rant from his Tripoli compound, which was bombed on Sunday in the first wave of allied strikes, he told a small crowd of supporters that he would defeat the ‘crazed fascists’ attempting to remove him from the country.

Gaddafi’s comments were released last night by Libyan state television.

My Comment: He definitely does not look well .... and one should not be surprised since this is (probably) the first time in his life that he is now involved in a conflict in which he is the primary target.
