My Comment
: After the Egyptian revolution succeeded in putting President Mubarak out of power, many Middle Eastern pundits started to warn many in the West that the eventual outcome of this revolution would be a more pro-Islamic (and anti-secular) foreign policy.

The U.S. State Department (and others) advised us that this was not going to be the case, but with recent overtures towards Iran becoming a priority for the new government, many are now starting to question this analysis.

What is my take .... when former ministers who worked in the past to establish a workable relationship with Israel are now being put on trial by the new Egyptian government, the message that is being broadcast to everyone else becomes obvious .... for those who want to work with Israel in the future, do so at your own peril.
