Gaddafi Accepts AU's Peace Plan To End Libya's Civil War



Libya: Col Gaddafi 'Accepts Roadmap To Peace' -- SKY News

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi has agreed to a peace plan proposed by the African Union aimed at ending the conflict in Libya.

A communique was announced after a five-strong AU delegation led by South African president Jacob Zuma held talks with representatives of the regime in Tripoli.

The plan is due to be presented to rebel leadership in Benghazi today, although the South African leader will not be travelling with other delegates to the stronghold.

My Comment: No details on this peace agreement have been released, and there is no news or information on what is Libya's opposition's position to these peace overtures. In short .... I see nothing changing with Gaddafi's support for this peace agreement, and more importantly .... the rebel movement continuing the fight even with "peace talks" being discussed.
