Iran: No More Nuclear Discussions In Future Talks
Iran is ready to join further discussions with the five permanent U.N. Security Council member nations and Germany, but any new meeting cannot address the Middle Eastern nation's nuclear program, the Iranian Foreign Ministry indicated on Tuesday (see GSN, April 18).
Senior Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili is set to respond to a message from European Union foreign policy Catherine Ashton on a potential new meeting, the Iranian Students News Agency quoted Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying.
"We are ready to take further steps," the official said. "We are set to pursue the issue, whenever the other party is ready."

My Comment: The Iranians have read this situation accurately. With no real desire to pursue this from European, Russian, Chinese, and even American governments .... the Iranians are now free to pursue their nuclear program to their hearts content.
