DoD Still Forming Plans For Government Shutdown -- Navy Times

It remained unclear Tuesday whether 1.4 million active-duty troops will receive paychecks on April 15 as a top Pentagon spokesman said the Defense Department continues work on plans for a possible government shutdown on Friday.

“We have not come to a conclusive determination about how everyone’s pay would be affected” by a government shutdown, Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell said Tuesday. “That is something we are working through right now. … We haven’t come to a determination yet.”
