Can The U.S. Change Pakistan's Military Culture?
WITHIN Pakistan's vast military network it is not hard to find evidence to support US claims, revealed in WikiLeaks documents, that a good proportion of the nation's armed forces are anti-American conspiracy theorists.
"The US (Indian intelligence service), RAW and Mossad were all backing Osama bin Laden," one recently retired army major told The Australian in the wake of the US commando raid on the al-Qa'ida chief's Abbottabad compound this month.
"Osama was a friend of America, he was a friend of MI6 and a friend of Mossad and somehow he turned into an enemy of Pakistan," said Sakhi ur-Rehman, who added, "this is a common attitude amongst the armed forces.'.

My Comment: Can the U.S. convert the Pakistan military? To answer this question I would respond by flipping the question around .... can Pakistan change the American military culture?
The answer is definitely no .... and the reasons that you will list will be the same reasons on why the U.S. will not be successful in converting Pakistan's military.
