The Endurance Needed To Complete The 'Sea Trials'

Most students may end their first year of university with a few exams - and perhaps an alcoholic drink or two.

But things are a little different for those studying at the United States Naval Academy.

They must endure 14-hours of physical fitness and problem solving tests - known as Sea Trials - before they can move on.

The exercise in Maryland, is the culmination of 12 months of training and are designed to test the young students' physical endurance and teamwork skills.

My Comment: I suspect that when these student naval officers have completed their 'Sea Trials' .... pride and a sense of accomplishment will define how they feel.
