My Comment: France never had a comfortable working relationship with Pakistan .... especially after 11 French naval engineers were murdered in Pakistan in 2002. What further complicated this relationship were rumors that Pakistan's intelligence agencies were actually responsible for the attack .... rumors that are now gaining credence with the discovery of bin Laden's compound in a Pakistan military/garrison town, and more information now becoming public of ISI links to the terror groups responsible for the Mumbai massacre.
