Pakistan Past President Tries To Explain That They Did Not Know That Osama Bin Laden Was In Their Country

Musharraf: Bin Laden hideout not Pakistan ISI's fault -- CBS News

My Comment: I would not even buy a used car from such a person, let alone listen to his excuses on why did he not know that Osama Bin Laden was in his country.

While watching this interview, it also struck me on how this illustrates what is wrong with Pakistan. There is no desire to have any semblance of accountability or responsibility for anything if it should go wrong .... there is not even an apology to the American people. Gen. Pervez Musharraf was the leader of Pakistan when Bin Laden moved into his compound at Abbottabad .... and if he feels this way, I am sure that everyone below him will also be rushing to wash their hands of any accountability or responsibility for failing to do their duty in capturing such a monster.

Put as simply as possible:
1. OBL was both smart, and rich and he cleverly covered his tracks.
2. When our forces took the compound, they found 4 computers, 4 cell phones, and numerous hard drives.
3. Why would we find so much evidence
4. Because Bin Laden felt very safe where he was, knowing he had "friends" in the ISI and Pakistan army who would protect him.
5. And we knew this too and that is why we went in using special helos and flew very low to outwit the Pakistan military.
