My Comment: She still has a long way to go .... and she is not the only one who has suffered because of experiencing 9/11 up close. An old girlfriend of mine was in New York City when the towers fell. After a few weeks she came to back to Canada, and has been living up north in a quiet Quebec town .... she rarely (if ever) goes to Montreal or any other large city. Apparently (and she cannot rationally explain it) she gets the 'shakes' whenever she visits a large city .... and she never wants to talk about 9/11.
But .... when the death of Osama bin Laden was reported .... she text me with the message .... "The f___er OBL is KIA. Confirmed". I have known her for 25 years, and it is the first time for me to hear her use swear words. Hmmm .... I guess (and hope) that is progress.
