Coalition Admits It Bombed Tripoli Residential Building by Mistake, Incensing Regime.

MISRATA, Libya—The North Atlantic Treaty Organization said on Sunday that it accidentally bombed a residential building in Tripoli, killing at least nine civilians in the Libyan capital, as Col. Moammar Gadhafi's regime used the incident to whip up anger toward the West and the country's opposition and rebel forces.

The regime, meanwhile, amassed more soldiers on the outskirts of the rebel-controlled city of Misrata, where clashes have been raging for weeks, and stepped up rocket attacks against one neighborhood inside the city, killing two women over the weekend, said witnesses and doctors, prompting families to start fleeing the area.
